A professional’s career, from Brazil’s elite academies to the European top flight — now building the next generation.

Mateus Mendes came up through the youth systems of Corinthians and Palmeiras — two of the most respected talent factories in world football — before a professional career across Brazil and in the Ukrainian Premier League with Chornomorets Odesa, mostly as a left back, center back, and captain.

Having retired from playing in November 2025, he is now training athletes in South Florida and serving as a leader at Imagine Church, a Brazilian community in Coconut Creek. He is moving into coaching, player development, and scouting — bringing elite technical grounding, professional leadership, and a first-hand understanding of the international pathway that turns overlooked talent into professionals.
